• →Design and build dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• →Operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs.
• →Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• →Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy.
• →Troubleshoot and repair existing dies and tooling to maintain production efficiency.

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
• Demonstrated ability to operate manual and CNC machining equipment
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and various material properties
• Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam) for design and programming
• Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machinery (e.g., mills, lathes, EDM)
• Knowledge of advanced metrology tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators) for precise measurement and inspection
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Certification in a specialized tooling area (e.g., mold making, progressive dies)
