Tool and Die Maker - Holland Area

• →Design and build new tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges.
• →Repair and maintain existing tooling to ensure optimal production.
• →Operate a variety of machine tools such such as lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs.

• →Troubleshoot and resolve complex tooling issues impacting manufacturing processes.
• →Perform precision measurements using various inspection equipment to verify tool accuracy.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve tool design and manufacturing efficiency.

• High school diploma or GED; completion of a Tool and Die Maker apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated expertise in operating manual and CNC machinery (e.g., mills, lathes, grinders, EDMs).
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatment processes, and various tooling materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for precision measurement and quality control.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Experience with 3D CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam)
• Certification in a specialized area (e.g., EDM, CNC programming)
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or train junior Tool and Die Makers
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with metrology equipment and advanced inspection techniques
