Tool and Die Maker - Wyoming Area

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Wyoming that are seeking skilled Tool and Die Makers. • →Design and build new tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges.
• →Repair and maintain existing tooling to ensure optimal production.
• →Operate a variety of machine tools such such as lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs.
• →Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to determine tooling requirements.
• →Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part conformity.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and improve processes.

• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent experience (4+ years) as a Tool and Die Maker.
• Proficient in interpreting complex blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated expertise in operating manual and CNC machinery (e.g., lathes, mills, grinders, EDMs).
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatment processes, and various material properties.
• Proven ability to use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) for quality control.

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) for design and programming
• Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machinery (e.g., mills, lathes, EDM)
• Certification or advanced training in metrology and precision measurement techniques
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems in tooling applications
