Tool Maker - Charlotte Area

• →Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines.
• →Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• →Fabricate, repair, and modify jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, and gauges.
• →Perform precision measurements using a range of inspection tools.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tools and production equipment.
• →Maintain and repair existing tooling to ensure optimal performance.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production staff to develop new tooling solutions.

• Journeyman Toolmaker certification or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Demonstrated expertise in operating manual and CNC machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, EDMs).
• Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex tooling and dies.
