Tool Maker - Coopersville Area

• →Fabricate, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• →Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• →Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs.
• →Perform precision measurements using a wide range of inspection tools.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve complex tooling issues to optimize production.
• →Select appropriate materials and heat treatment processes for tooling applications.

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Proficient in operating manual and CNC machining equipment (mills, lathes, grinders)
• Ability to use a wide range of precision measuring instruments

• Additional certifications or training
