Tool Maker - Grand Haven Area

• →Fabricate, repair, and modify dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• →Set up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM.
• →Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• →Perform precision measurements using a wide range of inspection tools.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues during production.
• →Select appropriate materials and heat treatments for tooling applications.
• →Maintain and repair existing production tooling to ensure optimal performance.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience as a Tool Maker or similar role
• Proficiency in operating manual machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders)
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Experience with various metals and alloys

• Additional certifications or training
