Tool Maker - Holt Area

• →Design, build, and repair jigs, fixtures, and other tooling.
• →Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine tooling requirements.
• →Select and utilize appropriate materials and machining methods for tool fabrication.
• →Operate a variety of precision machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines.
• →Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues on tooling and machinery.
• →Conduct quality inspections of finished tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize tool design and manufacturing processes.

• Completion of a certified Tool & Die Maker apprenticeship.
• 5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Tool Maker in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated expertise in operating manual and CNC machine tools (mills, lathes, grinders, EDMs).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application.
• Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments.
