We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hudsonville that are seeking skilled Tool Makers. • →Fabricate, repair, and modify tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• →Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• →Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM equipment.
• →Perform precision measurements using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve complex tooling issues to support production.
• →Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize tool design and manufacturing processes.

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a Tool and Die Maker apprenticeship or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Expertise in operating manual and CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatment, and various material properties

• Additional certifications or training
