• →Fabricate, alter, and repair a wide variety of tools, dies, jigs, gauges, and fixtures.
• →Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
• →Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs.
• →Perform precision measurements using a variety of inspection equipment to ensure conformity to specifications.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool performance and manufacturing processes.
• →Select appropriate materials and heat treatments for tools based on application requirements.
• →Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or equivalent work experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of various machining processes, including milling, turning, grinding, and EDM
• Expertise in using a wide range of precision measuring instruments and hand tools
• Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations related to tool design and fabrication

• Additional certifications or training
