Tool Maker - Montague Area

• →Fabricate, alter, and repair a wide range of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• →Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• →Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDMs.
• →Perform precision measurements using a variety of inspection tools.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve complex tooling issues, recommending design improvements.
• →Maintain and repair existing tooling to ensure optimal production efficiency.
• →Select appropriate materials and heat treatments for tool longevity and performance.

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent on-the-job training
• 5+ years of experience as a Tool Maker in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and application
• Experience with manual and CNC machining equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDMs

• Additional certifications or training
