Tool Room Supervisor - DeWitt Area

• →Oversee daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• →Manage the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tools and equipment.
• →Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for tooling.
• →Train and mentor tool room technicians on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• →Maintain accurate inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
• →Collaborate with production and engineering to support tooling requirements for manufacturing.
• →Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards within the tool room.

• Proven experience in a manufacturing tool room environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, fixtures, and precision measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled machinists and toolmakers.
• Proficiency in shop math, trigonometry, and the ability to apply these to practical machining problems.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for tool design or modification.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Bilingual (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) to support a diverse workforce.
• Forklift certification or experience operating similar industrial equipment.
