Tool Room Supervisor - Holt Area

• →Oversee daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• →Manage and maintain inventory of tools, fixtures, and equipment.
• →Supervise and train tool room personnel, fostering skill development and safety.
• →Implement and enforce preventative maintenance programs for tooling.
• →Collaborate with production and engineering to optimize tool design and performance.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and equipment.
• →Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

• 5+ years experience in a tool room environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proficiency in operating and programming various machine tools (e.g., CNC mills, lathes, grinders, EDM).
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and metrology.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train a team of skilled machinists and toolmakers.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software for tooling design and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking tools and equipment.
• Certification in a relevant field such as machining, tooling, or manufacturing technology.
