Tool Room Supervisor - Muskegon Area

• →Oversee daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• →Manage the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tooling and equipment.
• →Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all tools.
• →Supervise and train tool room personnel, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
• →Maintain accurate inventory records for tools, spare parts, and consumables.
• →Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address tooling needs and improvements.
• →Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.
• 5+ years experience in a tool room, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various machine tools (e.g., lathes, mills, grinders, EDM).
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measurement tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor a team.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus.

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for tool design and fabrication.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin.
• Project management experience, overseeing tool room expansion or new equipment integration.
