Tool Room Supervisor - Portage Area

We are partnering with organizations in Portage that are seeking Tool Room Supervisors. • →Supervise and train tool room personnel on safety procedures and equipment operation.
• →Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tools, dies, and machinery.
• →Manage inventory of spare parts, raw materials, and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• →Implement and enforce quality control procedures for manufactured tools and components.
• →Collaborate with production and engineering departments to optimize tool design and performance.
• →Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all tool room equipment.
• →Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the tool room.
• →Analyze tool performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a tool room environment.
• Proven experience in supervising and leading a team.
• Strong proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in operating and programming CNC machinery (mills, lathes, EDMs).
• Solid understanding of various tooling materials, heat treatment processes, and surface finishes.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software for tool design and manufacturing.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
