Tooling Engineer - Walker Area

We are partnering with organizations in Walker that are seeking Tooling Engineers. • →Design, develop, and optimize tooling for manufacturing processes.
• →Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for tooling issues.
• →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tooling meets production requirements.
• →Manage tooling lifecycle, including procurement, maintenance, and end-of-life.
• →Develop and maintain tooling documentation, specifications, and standards.
• →Evaluate new tooling technologies and materials for process improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in tooling design, development, and optimization within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing tooling.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., stamping, injection molding, casting) and their associated tooling requirements.
• Experience with tool life management, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) for tooling applications.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for automation of design or analysis tasks.
• Background in statistical process control (SPC) for tooling performance and quality.
• Familiarity with robotics and automation in a manufacturing environment.
