Weld Technician - Coopersville Area

• →Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) to fabricate and repair components.
• →Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• →Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards using appropriate tools.
• →Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting parameters for optimal performance.
• →Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment and related machinery.
• →Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes and resolve issues.

• High school diploma or GED
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong understanding of welding safety protocols and quality control
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on welding equipment

• Experience with robotic welding systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and GD&T.
• Familiarity with NDT methods (e.g., UT, PT, MT) for weld inspection.
• AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification.
