Weld Technician - Grand Haven Area

• →Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to fabricate and repair components.
• →Inspect welded joints and structures for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications using visual and measurement tools.

• →Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings to determine project requirements.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues, adjusting parameters and techniques as needed.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve product design.
• →Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Associate's degree in welding technology or a related field
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification
• 3+ years of experience in various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Demonstrated ability to perform quality inspections and troubleshoot welding equipment
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties relevant to welding

• Additional certifications or training
