Weld Technician - Kalamazoo Area

• →Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various materials and part geometries.
• →Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine welding procedures and specifications.
• →Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, including welders, grinders, and cutting tools.
• →Conduct quality inspections of welds to ensure adherence to standards and detect defects.
• →Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment and fixtures as needed.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve product quality.
• →Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Associate's degree in Welding Technology or a related field
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing welding, preferably with robotic welding systems
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Strong understanding of various welding processes (MIG, TIG, STICK) and their applications
• Ability to perform quality checks and troubleshoot welding equipment and processes

• Additional certifications or training
