Weld Technician - Mason Area

• →Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on diverse materials.
• →Read and interpret blueprints, schews, and engineering specifications to determine welding requirements.
• →Inspect welded components for quality, defects, and adherence to established standards and specifications.
• →Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting parameters for optimal performance.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
• →Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly calibrated.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve product quality.
• →Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures related to welding operations and workplace safety.

• High school diploma or GED
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing welding
• Proficient in reading blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong understanding of various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Ability to perform quality inspections and troubleshoot welding issues

• Experience with robotic welding systems.
• AWS CWI or CWE certification.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering blueprints and schematics, including GD&T.
• Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT) and interpretation of results.
• CAD/CAM software experience for weld path programming.
