Weld Technician - Newaygo Area

• →Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) to fabricate and repair components according to blueprints and specifications.
• →Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to established standards using appropriate measurement tools.
• →Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, including power sources, torches, and safety gear.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues, such as equipment malfunctions or material imperfections.

• →Document welding activities, including materials used, procedures followed, and inspection results.

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in welding or a related field
• AWS D1.1 certification or equivalent
• Proficient in various welding processes (MIG, TIG, STICK)
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Additional certifications or training
