Weld Technician - Plainwell Area

• →Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on diverse materials.
• →Read and interpret blueprints, schews, and engineering specifications to determine welding requirements.
• →Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to established standards and codes.
• →Operate and maintain welding equipment, including preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot welding issues and optimize processes.
• →Fabricate and assemble metal components according to design specifications.

• High school diploma or GED
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) or equivalent certification
• 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing welding or a related field
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Demonstrated ability to perform various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Strong understanding of welding safety protocols and quality control procedures

• Additional certifications or training
