Working Supervisor - Grand Rapids Area

We are partnering with organizations in Grand Rapids that are seeking Working Supervisors. • →Supervise and train production line staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• →Coordinate daily production schedules and assign tasks to team members to meet manufacturing targets.
• →Monitor production processes and equipment, performing minor adjustments and reporting maintenance needs.
• →Conduct quality control checks on finished products and work-in-progress, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• →Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and operational guidelines.
• →Provide hands-on support in various production tasks as needed to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
• →Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and team performance data.

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Forklift certification and experience operating various manufacturing equipment.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• Forklift operator certification
