Working Supervisor - Traverse City Area

• →Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operations workers.
• →Train new employees on company procedures, safety regulations, and equipment operation.
• →Monitor production processes and adjust schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
• →Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• →Perform hands-on production tasks, operating machinery and assisting with assembly as needed.
• →Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions and production issues.

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members on production processes and safety protocols
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and production schedules
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and waste reduction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification
• Forklift operator certification
