We are looking for a UI/UX Designer in McLean, VA.

Job Description:

Provide user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design, research, and development plans in support of the client's applications
Leverage expertise in Ul/UX design principles, human-centered design, and user research to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) or technical area
Minimum of five years of experience working with user research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions and validate user experience
Proficiency in UI/UX design tools, such as Sketch, In Vision, and Adobe Creative Suite, to create high-quality design solutions
Five years of experience with wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Figma and Axure, to develop and test design concepts.
Human-centered design principles and design thinking to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to effectively communicate design requirements to development teams
US citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Experience:

Experience with mobile and web application design, including responsive design principles and mobile-specific design considerations
Familiarity with existing design systems and brand guidelines to ensure alignment with customer's overall visual identity
Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in UI/UX design, such as AR/VR and voice UI, to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities
Experience with usability testing and user feedback analysis to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions
