Business Systems & Integration Director

Summary:

The Director of Business Systems & Integration is responsible for advancing how TTG uses technology and data to improve operations and support the continued growth of the business.

This role will work across the organization to identify where technology, AI, automation and better use of data can improve the way we operate. The Director will take those opportunities from idea through implementation and make sure the tools we introduce are being used and delivering value.

The role will also lead the business technology side of tuck-in integrations, helping bring acquired companies into TTG's systems and operating model.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Technology & Operational Improvement

• Work directly with operational leaders to understand where technology can improve the way we work

• Identify inefficient or manual processes and develop better solutions

• Lead technology initiatives from initial idea through implementation and adoption

• Evaluate new tools based on business need and expected value

• Drive consistent use of technology across TTG's divisions. Track adoption rates and integration timelines.

• Measure whether implemented solutions produce the intended results. Track and report time/cost savings delivered by technology initiatives to demonstrate ROI.

• Translate operational and financial data into KPIs to improve business performance

• Other duties as assigned.

AI & Automation

• Lead TTG's AI initiatives from identifying opportunities through implementation and adoption

• Identify areas where AI or automation can improve an existing business process

• Evaluate emerging technology and determine where it could provide value to TTG

• Develop and implement solutions that can be used across the organization

• Help teams understand how to incorporate new tools into the way they work

Data & Business Intelligence

• Drive better use of data throughout the organization

• Make sure leaders have the information they need to understand performance and make decisions

• Oversee TTG's business intelligence and reporting capabilities

• Improve consistency in how information is captured and reported across divisions

• Provide business ownership and direction for key applications including COINS, Domo and NorthBoundary, with a focus on how they are used, the information they provide and opportunities for improvement.

• Partner with Finance to ensure accurate reporting of financial and operational performance.

Tuck-In Integration

• Work with leadership to understand the acquired company's operations before determining how and when TTG systems should be introduced.

• Lead the business technology portion of tuck-in integrations

• Assess the systems and processes being used by acquired companies

• Determine what should transition to TTG platforms and what may need to remain

• Develop and manage the business systems integration plan with deadline commitment.

• Use each integration as an opportunity to create more consistency across TTG

Leadership

• Lead the Business Systems/Reporting team

• Establish priorities based on the needs of the business

• Work across Operations, Finance and other functions to move initiatives forward

• Manage business application vendors and outside resources as needed

• Build a roadmap for TTG's business technology priorities

• Own a technology budget.

Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, technology or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered

• 7+ years of experience in business technology, systems implementation, business intelligence or process improvement

• Comfortable reading financial reports and departmental cost structures

• Experience building ROI/business case for technology investments

• Demonstrated experience leading technology initiatives through implementation and adoption

• Experience working with ERP and business intelligence platforms

• Experience with acquisitions or business integrations preferred

• Experience implementing AI or automation solutions preferred

• Prior leadership experience

• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational challenges and determine where technology can provide value

• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to support business decisions

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive change

• Ability to communicate effectively with operational and technical teams

• Strong project management and follow-through

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers and phones. The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and communicate effectively in person and electronically. Periodic travel to TTG locations, acquired companies and other business locations is required.
