Companion/Caregiver- Naperville, Illinois

A warm and supportive family in Naperville, Illinois is seeking a compassionate, dependable Companion/Caregiver to provide daily assistance to a woman in her 70’s. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, is highly organized, and has experience working with seniors. The ideal candidate will become a trusted companion, helping coordinate appointments, provide transportation, and assist with daily errands while promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

  Provide companionship and daily support to the client.

  Safely transport the client to physical therapy appointments, medical appointments, shopping, the pharmacy, and other local errands.

  Coordinate and manage appointments, schedules, and daily activities.

• →

  Assist with grocery shopping, prescription pick-up, and other household errands.

• →

  Accompany the client on outings and provide mobility assistance as needed.

  Offer occasional assistance for the client's adult daughter with disabilities.

  Communicate regularly with the family regarding schedules, appointments, and any concerns.

• Previous experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or in a companion/caregiving role.

• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.

• Reliable personal vehicle.

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.

• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required.

Schedule: Monday through Friday. Flexible schedule, with hours generally between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Salary: $35–$45 per hour
