Skilled Asphalt Laborer

We are looking for a reliable Asphalt Laborer to join our team! Responsibilities include operating screed of paver on a daily basis and performing routine equipment checks and maintenance, loading and unloading equipment, and ensuring sites are kept clean and equipment is safely turned off and stored. 

Asphalt Laborer Responsibilities:

• Labor and rake asphalt mix as job dictates
• Assist with job set up such as loading equipment and materials into crew truck
• Set up of cones, signs and barriers as scope of work dictates
• Perform daily maintenance of equipment for optimal performance

Paver Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• Relevant license and safety certification.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• A positive outlook and a willingness to learn.

Job Types: Full-time

Pay Range: Per hour based on experience 

Schedule:

• 6AM start Monday - Friday
• 10 hour shifts
• Weekend availability needed, but not usual

Experience:

• Construction: 2 year (Preferred)
• Asphalt: 2 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• DOT Medical Card (Preferred / Sometimes Required)
• OSHA10+ (Preferred)
