→Break news about VC deals, including funds, performance, and leadership changes
→Write in-depth profiles of the most important investors, startup founders and trends
→Immerse oneself in the topic to write with authority and generate story ideas
→Contribute to editorial products such as Next GP list, TI 50 and org charts
→Keep and cultivate relationships with trusted sources
→Work with colleagues out of our three newsrooms

Requirements

At least two years of business reporting experience
A track record of scoop-based reporting in business, technology or politics
Ability to cultivate sources and develop a beat
Familiarity with major developments in tech and finance over the last three years
Bachelor's degree
The ability to work out of The Information’s San Francisco office.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $200,000 USD Annually + Bonus + Benefits
