As our Finance & Accounting Lead, you play a key role in strengthening and scaling our finance operations during a period of international growth. You take ownership of core accounting processes and drive improvements across the finance function. Next to ensuring accurate and reliable financial operations, you focus on building structure, efficiency, and leveraging modern technology to scale the finance operations. You will work side-by-side with the team to identify bottlenecks, introduce smart automation tools, and elevate our overall financial operations.You lead projects, improve processes, and naturally take a coordinating role within the team. You work closely with the accounting team, stakeholders across the organisation, and external partners, reporting to the Accounting & Financial Control Manager.
Responsibilities

●5–8 years of experience in accounting, finance operations or financial control
●Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
●Experience in taking ownership of processes and leading improvement or change initiatives
●Comfortable coordinating work and guiding others in daily operations or projects
●Strong analytical skills with a structured and detail-oriented way of working
●A proactive mindset with a natural drive to improve and simplify processes
●Able to operate in a fast-moving, international environment
●Experience with Excel; Visma.net and Google Workspace are a plus
●Good command of Dutch and English, verbally and in writing
