Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee daily unit operations during your shift Assign and support nursing staff based on patient acuity and workflow to ensure smooth flow of operations Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards Manage admissions, discharges, and patient flow Serve as a mentor, clinical resource, and leader for the nursing team Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care initiatives Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Alabama RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license BLS certification required ACLS certification within 6 months of hire Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg or acute care nursing experience Previous Charge Nurse or leadership experience PALS certification preferred Make an Impact Where Leadership Matters At Russellville Hospital, you’ll have the opportunity to lead with purpose, support your team, and provide outstanding care to the community.
