The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading logistics and warehousing organization to hire a a hands-on, experienced and skilled Driver who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in delivering exceptional client experiences. In this role, you’ll lead installations, oversee logistics, mentor team members, and ensure valuable furniture, artwork, and client assets are handled with care from start to finish. Working closely with the Project Coordinator, the Driver supports seamless project execution and reports directly to the Operations Manager. What You’ll Do Project Leadership & Team Coordination Serve as the primary point of communication for project, installation, and operational updates Lead and contribute to daily team huddles focused on operations, planning and goals Coordinate workflows to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule Mentor and train team members in professional handling, packing, moving, and installation techniques Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and attention to detail Ensure safe handling of client property while following company procedures and damage prevention standards Installation, Logistics & Operations Safely handle, install, transport, and organize high-value furniture, artwork, and specialty items Tag, photograph, measure, inventory, and prepare items for secure transport or storage Maintain clean organized trucks, tool kits, and equipment to support operational excellence Track labor hours, materials, and equipment usage for accurate project invoicing Identify and resolve on-site challenges during installations, moves, and packing operations Train team members on proper handling and damage prevention practices and Ensure Documentation & Administration Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including: Condition Reports Bills of Lading (BOLs) Supply Lists ADV Forms Invoices Matrix Sheets Report damages immediately and complete required documentation within 24 hours Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to improve workflow and project outcomes Complete administrative documentation accurately and on time Professional Growth & Development We invest in team members who want to grow their expertise and leadership skills. In this role, you will: Continuously expand your knowledge of fine furniture and artwork handling, storage, and transportation best practices Develop expertise in specialized packing, crating, shipping, and installation techniques Participate in cross-training opportunities across operations teams Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a professional appearance and attitude What We’re Looking For Experience & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 2–3 years of experience in moving, installation, delivery, logistics, or packing services preferred Previous leadership or customer service experience is a strong plus Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required Skills & Attributes Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret written instructions and project documentation Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities Professional, dependable, and client-focused Safety-conscious with excellent attention to detail Promote efficiency in time, materials, and resources Support additional operational duties as needed Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 100 lbs Comfortable walking, climbing stairs, crouching, and working in active environments Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and vehicles Willingness to travel between client locations and storage facilities Strong hand and finger dexterity for safely handling tools and materials Comfortable working around moving equipment, elevated noise levels, mechanical parts and hazardous materials Why Join Us?
