EVS Housekeeper - Full-Time | Part-Time

The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed healthcare organization in Hamilton Texas to hire dependable EVS workers. In this role you will be required to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas, safely handling biohazardous materials, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, infection control, and hospital standards. This role also includes participation in cross-training and providing Environmental Services support across various departments and facility locations. Schedule: Full-Time | Part-Time What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, nursing stations, utility rooms, exam rooms, and common areas Maintain floors, carpets, furniture, fixtures, and surfaces through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting Restock supplies and ensure patient rooms ready for new admissions Remove waste and trash to designated collection areas Follow cleaning schedules and infection control standards Complete required documentation and provide excellent customer service and patient support Perform other duties as assigned as needed to support operations and patient care Adhere to all organizational policies, behavioral standards and employee guidelines What You Are Looking For Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to read, write, and follow instructions Entry-level position; no prior experience required Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete required documentation Commitment to excellent customer service and patient care standards Additional Requirements Follow infection prevention, safety, and Environmental Services procedures Always maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Complete health education training and participate in cross-training across departments and facilities Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, respect, integrity, service, and excellence Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs. and transport up to 300 lbs. on carts Push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and climb ladders as needed Safely operate heavy floor care and cleaning equipment and machinery What You Can Expect Benefits Paid Time Off & Holidays Health & Supplemental Insurance Direct Deposit Fitness Center Membership Education Reimbursement Retirement Plan If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, we encourage you to apply.
