The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a well-known logistics and warehousing organization located in San Francisco, CA for the safe handling, transportation, and installation of valuable and unique possessions, including fine art, antiques, luxury furniture, and personal collections. As an Art Handler & Moving Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting all phases of the relocation process, including packing, collection, transportation, delivery, and installation and ensure the safe handling and movement of personal effects, fine art, and antiques. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll develop specialized skills in fine art logistics while contributing to exceptional client experiences and the protection of irreplaceable items. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who take pride in hands-on work, attention to detail, teamwork, and deliver outstanding service. What You’ll Do Perform daily collections and deliveries, both local and interstate, as required Assist with field documentation, including condition reporting and related paperwork Work with the Driver to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and trip-ready; verify shipment requirements against daily manifests Report and obtain approval for any manifest changes from the Operations or Dispatch Manager before implementation Safely handle art, antiques, fragile items, and fine furniture. Assist with installation projects Prepare condition checks and condition reports as required Pack artworks, antiquities, and fine furniture for transportation and storage Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles Support warehouse operations as directed by the Manager Assist the Warehouse Manager with inventory management Follow direction effectively while working in small teams Assist with inventory scanning to maintain accurate location records Maintain a high level of attention to detail on every assignment Complete and submit signed manual timesheets within 24 hours when starting or ending the workday at a location other than the company facility What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Previous experience in moving, logistics, warehousing, art handling, or a related field preferred Valid ability to safely perform physical job requirements Skills & Experience Experience packing, handling, and transporting furniture, artwork, antiques, or valuable household goods Understanding of inventory management and logistics processes with the ability to quickly learn and implement best practices for handling furniture, fine art, and antiquities from collection through installation Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities Excellent multi-tasking, communication skills and a customer-focused approach Ability to complete detailed paperwork, inventory documentation, and condition reports accurately Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Experience using moving and warehouse equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, dollies, and other necessary logistics equipment Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. regularly and safely maneuver heavier items with appropriate equipment and team support and move loads up to 120 lbs. using dollies and carts Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Why Join Us?
