OB/GYN Physician – Women’s Health | Full-Time

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a reputable health center in Pomona, CA, committed to expanding access to high-quality healthcare while supporting the well-being of patients, employees, and the communities they serve We are seeking an experienced and qualified OB/GYN Physician to join their Obstetrics and Gynecology department Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the OB/GYN Physician will deliver outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care while collaborating with clinical staff and supporting the organization’s commitment to quality patient care and regulatory standards Schedule: Full-Time What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities Provide women’s health examinations, prenatal care through 35 weeks of gestation, contraceptive services, and STI care within the scope of the organization’s OB/GYN practice Identify patients with high-risk prenatal patients and coordinate referrals to appropriate outside providers or specialty services in accordance with the hospital’s clinical protocols, with earlier transition to the OB Delivery Physician when clinically appropriate as the patient approaches 36 weeks of gestation Complete timely and accurate documentation and required actions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), including diagnoses, treatment plans, orders, medications, and other pertinent clinical information Review and address pending EHR PAQ items in a timely manner Issue timely responses to E-Consult requests from specialist reviewers Follow Quality Improvement guidelines and participate in Quality Improvement initiatives related to chronic disease management Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers as assigned Collaborate with Registered Dietitians and Health Educators to ensure patients receive appropriate education and support Participate in required Provider Meetings and Quality Improvement Meetings Serve as a preceptor and clinical instructor for Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and medical students as assigned Attend conferences and seminars as requested and fulfill all continuing education requirements Provide periodic training and clinical guidance to Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other clinic staff Work with other OB/GYN providers to maintain and update educational materials and patient instruction sheets as needed Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer, incorporating input from other OB/GYN providers, to review and update medical protocols Participate in provider recruitment activities Participate in activities that support the professional development of clinical support team members Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership What We Are Looking For Education, Experience & Licensure Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency, or Family Medicine residency with OB/GYN fellowship or equivalent training Current California Physician license Current DEA certification + Current CPR certification Board Certified or Board Eligible in applicable specialty; certification required within 2 years for Board Eligible Physicians Experience in outpatient OB/GYN care, including prenatal, family planning, and women’s health services Additional Skills and Attributes Ability to identify high-risk pregnancies and coordinate referrals and care transitions Advanced Practice Provider supervision or collaboration experience preferred Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic populations Ability to communicate clearly and positively, professionally with staff at all levels, including effective speaking, hearing, and visual communication skills Ability to write clinical notes, treatment plans, and maintain records and reports What You Can Expect Work Environment Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions Clinical/office setting with a shared workspace Regular standing, sitting, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting including while interacting with patients Use a computer for extended periods throughout the workday Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Hourly Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Holiday Vacation and Sick Leave Employee Assistance Program Life Insurance (Basic + Voluntary) Tuition Reimbursement 403(b) Retirement plan with 6% match If you are an experienced OB/GYN Physician looking to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused healthcare setting, this opportunity offers the chance to provide comprehensive women’s health services while working alongside a collaborative clinical team.
