Rescue Technician – Long-Term Opportunity

The Rescue Teams are primarily accountable for planning and providing industrial technical rescue standby, fire prevention, instruction and or medical response to clients of The Total Group of Companies.

• Assist with developing and reviewing site-specific rescue plans.

• Support rescue operations, drills, equipment setup, and inspections.

• Monitor work areas and help maintain a safe site.

• Work closely with the rescue team, site personnel, and other contractors.

• Communicate clearly and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment.

• Confined Space Rescue

• Confined Space Entry

• Fall Protection

• Standard First Aid with CPR/AED

• WHMIS 2015

• CSTS 2020

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Rope Rescue or High-Angle Rescue certification

• NFPA 1006 Technical Rescue certification

• Firefighter training or industrial rescue experience

• Minimum 18 years of age.

• Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN.

• Hold a valid driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle.

• Be able to produce a clean or satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
