- Research relevant technology.
- Design experimental testing in the lab/pilot plant.
- Operate lab/pilot plant equipment (i.eg., pumps, flow meters, reactor vessels etc.).
- Collect and analyze data.
- Make recommendations on the conclusions.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
Requirements
~1 min read- Required High School or Equivalent
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree : Current Sophomore or Junior studying chemical engineering, biological engineering, environmental engineering, or related field.
- Required 1+ years Lab experience.
- Completed Engineering (minimum Engineering 101) as well as other 100 level Statestics and Chemistry classes.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Experience with mass balance (preferred).
- Excel and other Microsoft business products (required).
- Work is primarily performed in a laboratory setting, with occasional tasks in office or field environments.
- Must adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as lab coats, gloves, and safety goggles.
- Mobility: Frequent standing, walking, and moving around the lab. Occasional bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling small tools and laboratory equipment.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members.
