Online Elementary Math Teacher

Most teaching roles expect you to build everything yourself. Here, you teach within a structured instructional system — curriculum, lesson materials, training, and team support are already in place, so you can focus on teaching quality and student growth instead of building materials from scratch.

• →Teach math (up to Pre-Algebra) in a clear, engaging, student-centered way, using our curriculum, lesson materials, and instructional guidance
• →Lead virtual classes with ~18 students, creating a positive, high-expectation learning environment
• →Grade homework, give timely feedback, and communicate professionally with students/parents on progress and learning plans
• →Participate in training, lesson prep, and ongoing professional development

• Onboarding starts August 2026; teaching begins September 2026
• ~3-6 classes/week (6-12 teaching hours), plus admin hours (grading, prep, parent comms) — total 30-40 hrs/week
• Class windows (Pacific Time): Wed-Fri, 4pm-8pm and Sat-Sun, 9am-8pm
• Once classes are assigned, your schedule stays consistent week to week (except federal holidays)
• Commit to at least one year (till May 2027)

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
• Strong math foundation, comfortable with Pre-Algebra or above; Math, STEM-related, or Education majors preferred
• Available during the class windows above; available on at least one weekend day
• Passion for teaching and supporting student growth; strong communication skills
• Strong service mindset: proactive, comfortable initiating communication with parents, students, and the team, not just delivering lessons
• Open to feedback, self-reflective, and able to quickly adjust your teaching and service approach
• Tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or classroom teaching experience is a plus
• Math competition background (e.g., AMC, Math Kangaroo) is a plus
