At Thorne, our production material handler is a very important part of our operations. Our hourly material handler roles offer hands-on experience in a clean, safe, and innovative production environment with opportunities to grow and develop. Whether you're receiving incoming raw materials, staging, or returning materials ensuring products meet our strict quality standards, every team member plays a critical role in delivering trusted solutions to our customers.
Production Material Handler Responsibilities
Follow all Inventory Warehouse procedures for receiving and returning materials, as well as company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Complete inventory and production paperwork accurately, thoroughly, and legibly.
Assist with daily inventory counts and maintain the accuracy, integrity, and quality of supplies.
Safely operate warehouse equipment to store, rotate, move, and issue materials.
Select, inspect, label, and distribute the correct materials and quantities to designated production areas.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area using established inventory practices, including First In, First Out (FIFO).
Coordinate the receiving, staging, and return of production materials while following OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
Provide materials for production orders accurately and promptly.
