About the Role

~1 min read

Tia is seeking a Clinic Operations Manager to serve as the ultimate operational leader and general manager of one of our care delivery sites in Culver City, Silver Lake, or Studio City. You hold end-to-end accountability for the clinic’s operational excellence, team performance, compliance, and the overall patient and provider experience.

This role is ideal for a seasoned clinic operations leader who excels at high-level strategic execution, cross-functional partnerships with clinical leadership (Medical Directors), and macro-performance metrics, while remaining grounded enough to understand the daily mechanics of a fast-paced clinic. This is a highly visible, in-clinic leadership role that requires strong judgment, people leadership, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care.

  • Site Management: Manage, coach, and develop the clinic’s leadership and support teams, serving as the ultimate escalation point for complex personnel and operational challenges.
  • Talent Strategy: Partner with People Business Partners to oversee the site's macro-hiring strategy, workforce planning, performance management, and organizational design.
  • Culture & Excellence: Set the cultural standard for the clinic, driving high employee engagement, retention, and professional development programs in alignment with Tia’s core values.
  • Clinic Flow Oversight: Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring front desk, check-in, check-out, rooming, and clinical workflows are executed consistently, safely, and efficiently.
  • Real-Time Problem Solving: Monitor clinic flow to proactively identify bottlenecks, and own high-level problem solving related to provider schedules, staffing coverage, and emergency schedule changes. Utilize your clinical background to actively step into Medical Assistant or operational support roles when staffing shortages or high patient volumes demand it.
  • Metric Accountability: Track and manage key clinic operations metrics related to patient experience, schedule utilization, visit completion, access, timeliness, and care margin.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identify operational gaps and partner with centralized operations teams to implement practical, scalable process improvements and standardize clinic communication rhythms.
  • Clinical Partnership: Build a tight, collaborative partnership with the site’s Medical Director and providers to optimize care team dynamics, provider satisfaction, and clinical throughput.
  • Hospitality Environment: Create a warm, professional, and service-oriented clinic environment aligned with Tia’s brand, ensuring patients receive clear communication and timely support from arrival through checkout.
  • Escalation Authority: Serve as the final on-site authority for complex patient experience failures, medical-legal incidents, or quality-of-care escalations.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Partner with clinical leaders to maintain strict compliance with applicable healthcare, privacy (HIPAA/PHI), safety (OSHA), and regulatory standards.
  • Clinic Readiness: Ensure the clinic environment is pristine, organized, safe, and fully stocked. Coordinate with facilities, supply, IT, and operational vendors to resolve facility needs in a timely manner.

  • An Accomplished Leader: You have a proven track record of leading teams and driving accountability across multi-disciplinary, high-touch operational environments.
  • Commercially & Data-Driven: You are comfortable using operational metrics to identify gaps, solve problems, and optimize clinic capacity.
  • Calm Under Pressure: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize competing needs in a fast-moving environment without losing sight of the bigger picture. You thrive in dynamic environments and are highly adaptable regarding schedule changes and non-traditional hours.
  • An Exceptional Communicator: You communicate clearly, professionally, and with warmth, building trust quickly with senior clinicians, medical directors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Mission-Aligned: You are excited by Tia’s mission to transform women’s healthcare and thrive in a culture of continuous growth and excellence.

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in healthcare operations, clinic operations, ambulatory care, urgent care, or another patient-facing healthcare environment.
  • Clinical/Operational Toolkit: Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant (MA) or in a directly equivalent clinical support capacity is required, with the technical ability to assist with patient care/rooming during staffing gaps.
  • People Management: 3-5 years of direct people management experience, including a proven track record of supervising, coaching, and developing team members or supervisors.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Availability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends) to support clinic needs and ensure operational coverage.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep familiarity managing clinical support roles (Medical Assistants, Front Desk, Phlebotomists) and an intricate understanding of patient flow, scheduling tools, and EMRs.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA, OSHA), safety standards, and operational problem-solving
