About the Role

We’re looking for a part-time Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive, affirming care at Tia’s San Francisco clinic.

This position offers the flexibility to choose a consistent schedule of either:

  • Two days per week, 16 hours
  • Three days per week, 24 hours

As a Physician at Tia, you’ll provide full-spectrum primary care for women, including preventive care, acute care, chronic disease management, and routine gynecologic and reproductive healthcare.

You’ll work alongside nurse practitioners, physician assistants, acupuncture providers, and clinical support staff in an interdisciplinary environment designed to support whole-person care. You’ll also have opportunities to share clinical insights that help Tia improve its care model, workflows, and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care, including preventive care, acute concerns, and chronic condition management.
  • Address routine women’s health needs, including birth control counseling, STI screening, UTIs, vaginal infections, pelvic pain, and abnormal bleeding.
  • Provide compassionate, inclusive care through shared decision-making and a whole-person approach.
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, acupuncture providers, and clinical support staff.
  • Participate in case consultation, clinical collaboration, and teaching across the care team.
  • Share frontline clinical insights that help improve Tia’s care model, workflows, and technology.
  • Incorporate current research and evidence-based practices into patient care.

  • MD or DO with an active, unrestricted California medical license.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • 3+ years of outpatient primary care experience
  • Experience providing routine gynecologic and reproductive healthcare within a primary care setting.
  • Comfort managing preventive care, chronic conditions, acute concerns, basic dermatology, contraception, STI screening, UTIs, vaginal infections, pelvic pain, and abnormal bleeding.
  • A collaborative approach to working with nurse practitioners and other members of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, inclusive, affirming, and patient-centered care.
  • Willingness and eligibility to complete required credentialing and payer enrollment.

This role is based onsite at Tia’s San Francisco clinic.

Candidates may choose one of the following consistent schedules:

  • 16 hours per week, worked across two clinic days
  • 24 hours per week, worked across three clinic days

Specific weekdays will be determined based on candidate availability and clinic scheduling needs.

The salary range for this position is:

$101,952 to $133,813 annually for a 16-hour-per-week schedule
$152,929 to $200,719 annually for a 24-hour-per-week schedule
