Hardware Product Manager

We're looking for a Hardware Product Manager to join us – maybe that's you?

As a Hardware Product Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing Tibber's smart energy hardware, from the Pulse family to our next generation, into customers' homes. You'll build the specs, change control and certification that let our hardware scale across markets.

  Own the hardware and firmware roadmap for the Pulse family and next-generation devices, including OTA rollout gates

• →

  Turn ideas into clear PRDs and specs, covering industrial design, on-device behaviour, packaging and the unboxing experience

• →

  Run NPI end to end with our manufacturing partners, making sure we manufacture our product with high standards, following specification and in full coordination with Supply Chain.

  Keep production under control: the right spec and revision, with every engineering change recorded before it reaches the line

• →

  Secure CE and other certifications in every market, including cybersecurity and energy regulation, so we stay compliant and secure.

  Close the loop with Support: track field failures and returns, fix what you can in the field, and improve the next revision

  Give the hardware and firmware team its focus, and work closely with an Experience PM and our external design, manufacturing and test partners.

You are driven by impact and know how to turn strategy into execution. You're used to fast-paced environments and thrive when given clear goals and high accountability. We believe you'll thrive here if you:

• Have 5+ years in connected hardware product development, owning a roadmap and specs

• Have successfully taken one or several hardware products through the full development process, and then run the NPI to volume production with a contract manufacturer

• Have led CE certification (LVD, EMC, RED) with test labs

• Have owned the roadmap and specs for a product where hardware, firmware and cloud meet, including OTA updates in the field

• Have the technical depth to challenge engineering and supplier decisions, from an EE/ME degree or equivalent hands-on experience

• Create structure where there is none, and hold partners to spec, cost and timeline

• Are excited that Tibber is becoming more AI-enabled. You don't need to be an expert, but we believe you're motivated to use new tools and grow with them

Bonus: energy hardware (smart meters, EV chargers, batteries), RMA and failure analysis, packaging regulation (PPWR) or B2B2C channels. Don't tick every box? Apply anyway.
