• →Provides parent education, developmental information and family support to parents through personal home visits.
• →Promote the healthy development of children from pregnancy to kindergarten.
• →Utilize the nationally recognized "Parents as Teachers" curriculum to deliver quality home-based early childhood education, developmentally age-appropriate resources and effective child-parent interaction techniques
• →Conduct child developmental screenings including vision, hearing, the understanding and use of language, motor development, hand-eye coordination, and health and physical development.
• →Collaborating with other Child Care Staff to plan and execute fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities for the children in the classroom and on the playground;
• →Caring for vulnerable young children when preparing snacks/meals, changing diapers, cleaning and supervising;
• →Safeguarding each child when cleaning the classroom, adhering to the safety and security regulations you learn through our employee development training.

• MUST have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social services or other related field.
• Previous experience with children, and this does not have to be in a childcare center! Are you a parent? Have you volunteered with children before? Are you a former or retired teacher? All of these are examples of some of the many ways our staff have experience with children.

• • Appropriate clearances and trainings: PA State Criminal History Record, Child Abuse Report, FBI Criminal History Report, NSOR clearance, and Mandated Reporter Training. Clearances must be kept current.
  • Physical done within one year prior to start date
  • TB test within three months prior to start date
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
• Valid PA Driver’s License
