We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Commodity Manager who brings strong decision-making and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll audit, source, review costs, and visit suppliers while collaborating with a dynamic, diverse team to achieve shared goals. • →Participate in cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and select sources that demonstrate market segment leadership and increase value to our organization
• →Create, maintain, and execute procurement commodity strategies for the assigned categories
• →Improve quality and delivery by leading supplier selection and developing improvement plans through monitoring supplier performance regularly and leading key initiatives
• →Develop, distribute, and analyze RFPs/RFQs and collect proposals to support competitive sourcing decisions.
• →Lead negotiations and assist with contract management.
• →Eliminate supply chain risk by addressing concerns and supporting internal stakeholders in the event of imminent supply risk.
• →Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the procurement function and across the supply chain.
• →Collaborate in Toyota Material Handling Group (TMHG) initiatives that promote global synergy.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Proficient with MS Office applications and highly skilled in Excel
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Must be able to problem solve and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Demonstrated ability to lead commodity strategy development autonomously basely on objective and subjective criteria

• CSPM or APICS certification is a plus
• Results oriented and strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any level

• This is an in-person role located at either our Greene, NY or Columbus, IN offices—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
• Travel: up to 25-30% (domestic and international)
