What we are looking for:

  • Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics); PhD preferred.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative background, with hands-on experience in model development or data-driven problem-solving.

  • At least 2 years of experience as quant/data scientist, experience in credit risk and time series modelling will be particularly valued (credit decisioning, IRB, IFRS9, Stress testing)

  • Fluency on at least one of the following programming languages: Python, SAS, R and SQL.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (including the ability to write professional reports). Other languages will be valued.

  • Willingness to travel regularly for client work is essential.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with PySpark and big data frameworks (e.g., Databricks, Hadoop) is a strong plus.

  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, CRR/CRD, EBA Guidelines).

  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms, AI / Generative AI and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib).
