Case Qualification Specialist, New York

• →Review exception cases and dig into injuries, liability, and red flags
• →Spot commercial vehicle involvement and catastrophic or high-value potential
• →Talk with prospective clients and families with empathy, and ask the right follow-up questions
• →Give the managing attorney a clear recommendation (sign, refer, or decline) with your reasoning
• →Document everything in Filevine and our intake systems, and hand off signed cases cleanly
• →Review intake calls and recommend improvements to agent training and the intake questionnaire.
• →Proactively follow up with escalated clients to resolve concerns, improve client satisfaction, and prevent client-initiated case withdrawals.

• 5 or more years of personal injury law experience
• Experience evaluating and vetting construction accident and New York Labor Law cases, including assessing case viability, liability, and eligibility for representation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with real comfort talking to seriously injured clients and grieving families
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
• Consistent follow-through in a fast-moving environment

• Candidate lives in New York, but not required
• Paralegal experience
• Bilingual in Spanish
