Responsibilities

→Test, service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, card access, and intrusion systems in accordance with applicable NFPA and NEC codes with working knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components.
→Understanding of system schematics and wiring diagrams.
→Troubleshoot and repair deficiencies.
→Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
→Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the appointment.
→Complete service calls and/or inspections as scheduled in a timely manner.
→On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service.
→Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies.
→Ensure that all assigned tools are safeguarded and maintained.

Requirements

Hight School Diploma or equivalent required.
NICET II and/or state required certification required (FAST).
Minimum 2 years experience inspecting, servicing and/or installing fire alarm systems required.
2 years experience with CCTV, Intrusion, & Card Access systems preferred
Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.
Must have mechanical aptitude.
Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
