Senior Nuclear Safety Consultant

On behalf of our client we are recruiting for a Senior Nuclear Safety Consultant

• →Minimum of 5 years professional engineering/technical specialist experience.
• →Have a degree or equivalent in engineering, science or related field of study.
• →Understanding of the safety case production process and methodologies for more than one client.
• →Demonstrate knowledge of and experience in the management and production of complex safety cases, for a number of plant types at different lifecycle stages, as part of a team, demonstrating the capability to work unsupervised within a team.
• →Familiarity with areas such as decommissioning, optioneering, best practice, human factors, radioactive materials transport, licensing, radioactive waste.
  
  

The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK, and be willing to undergo a security vetting process. Offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted. Close working relationships with other sites and client sites may be required, which necessitates regular travel to those sites (dependent upon project & client requirements).
