  • Supports Towne's organic growth initiatives — partnering with operations and sales leadership on strategic projects, sizing markets and opportunities, and turning analysis into new business wins, retention, and margin improvement.
  • Supports Towne's inorganic growth initiatives — M&A strategy, target screening and outreach, pipeline management, buy-side due diligence, valuation and deal modeling, and IOI/LOI support.
  • Prepares financial and statistical models by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data / trends. Identifies opportunities for improving operational processes through analysis and assists in the development of sound business processes, methods, improvements and operational changes.
  • Prepares executive-ready materials — models, memos, and presentations — and presents findings and recommendations directly to senior finance leadership.
  • Owns the analysis behind Towne's growth pipeline, including performance tracking and reporting on organic wins and acquired operations.
  • Builds market, capability, and company overview presentations that support business development relationships and new growth opportunities.
  • Develop and manage pro forma valuation models and financial models that inform budget / forecast.
  • Support integration planning and execution, by coordinating the resources needed to ensure business continuity and integration success.
  • Conduct special projects to analyze complex scenarios and prepare recommendations for leadership, along with other ad hoc finance and operational reporting and analysis.
  • Demonstrate integrity and authenticity as a representative of the company.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and may be required to run; walk; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration)

  • Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience, ideally with a finance, consulting, or transaction advisory background.

  • The ideal candidate will need to be organized and skilled in prioritizing many initiatives. The ability to pivot quickly as demands change in real-time and the ability to adjust workflows to reflect practical time constraints are key.
  • Analytical Rigor: Analytical, methodical, and rigorous approach; ability to independently unpack complex business issues, perform research and analyses.
  • The ideal candidate has the ability to present complex concepts/ideas in concise, easy-to-understand terms.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with executive-level and cross-functional teams, both verbally and in writing. This candidate will be involved in managing external communication with potential acquisition / business development opportunities.
  • Excellent teamwork dynamics are critical. The ideal candidate will show high levels of empathy, strong communication skills and an appetite for feedback. The ability to work both individually and manage/lead team projects and team members across business units, as well as being an honest broker and objective sounding board, is crucial to the success of this individual.
  • Excel: Advanced technical proficiency is required. Comfort building financial models from a blank page, working with large and imperfect data sets, and structuring analysis so that it is auditable and can be followed by someone else.
  • PowerPoint and Messaging: Able to take raw analysis and turn it into a clear message — identifying the key takeaways, structuring the narrative, and building clean, well-designed, executive-ready presentations that leadership can act on.
  • Working with AI: Uses AI tools deliberately and well — strong prompting, and applying them to move faster across multiple concurrent workstreams and to run projects independently. Just as important is the judgment to manage them: outputs are reviewed, checked, and validated rather than accepted at face value.
  • Point of View: Comes into discussions prepared with an informed perspective on the topic at hand, and is expected to share it.
  • Proactivity: Identifies where analysis or support is needed, inserts themselves into the process early, and moves work forward without waiting to be asked.
  • Ownership and Judgment: Ability to take an abstract ask, make and document reasonable assumptions, and turn it into a tangible deliverable that leadership can react to — owning it from first draft through iterations of review. Requires discretion on when to escalate: exhausting available resources and taking work as far as it can reasonably go independently, while recognizing when a question genuinely needs to be raised and raising it early enough to protect the deadline.
  • Curiosity: A genuine interest and passion for learning the business and playing a key part in helping it grow.
  • Deal and project timelines occasionally require flexibility beyond standard business hours.

Job is fairly routine. Incumbent follows established practices and procedures. Duties are performed with specific directions given and work is checked or verified on a frequent basis. Decisions are made within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines. Errors in judgment could affect the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
