The Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for statutory financial reporting across Tradeweb’s international entities outside the U.S. This is a people-leadership role, initially managing a team of four spread across London, India and Tokyo, and will grow further as Tradeweb's international footprint expands.

This role is a key leadership position within Tradeweb's larger finance function, which operates as one global team across locations including New York, New Jersey, London, India and Tokyo. Global Finance is overseen by the CFO, based in New York. The role reports to our Head of Regulatory Reporting & Technical Accounting (Managing Director in New York), with a dotted line to our Head of International Finance (Managing Director in London).

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop our growing international team, setting priorities, reviewing output and building capability across the group.

• Own the end-to-end financial statement preparation and review process for Tradeweb’s international entities, primarily under IFRS, ensuring high-quality, accurate and timely financial statements and filings.

• Review and approve statutory filings submitted to regulators and company registrars across jurisdictions, ensuring consistency and compliance with local requirements.

• Lead engagement with internal and external auditors, taking ownership of audit strategy, key judgements and the resolution of complex or contentious matters.

• Oversee statutory and relevant regulatory obligations across our international footprint, partnering closely with Regulatory Reporting, Compliance, Legal, Tax, Treasury and Corporate Accounting.

• Provide senior oversight of entity financial health, including liquidity, reconciliations, variance analysis and matters managed through outsourced providers.

• Support our continued international expansion, leading finance readiness and reporting design for new entities and markets.

• Drive smarter ways of working, championing automation, process improvement and the appropriate use of AI across international reporting.

• Provide insight to senior leadership and entity boards, communicating financial performance, reporting obligations and key risks clearly and effectively.

About You

• A recognised professional accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent.

• Experience leading, developing and supporting high-performing teams, ideally across multiple locations or time zones.

• Experience within a top-tier accounting firm, combined with commercial experience in financial services, fintech or trading.

• Strong experience preparing and reviewing financial statements under IFRS, alongside statutory returns across multiple jurisdictions.

• Significant experience managing external audit relationships and resolving complex or judgemental audit matters.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge across IFRS and U.S. GAAP, ideally with exposure to local GAAP frameworks such as Indian Accounting Standards or Japanese GAAP.

• Working knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements, with sufficient expertise to review and approve regulatory filings.
