Group Details
The International Legal Administration Team is currently made up of three people, two based in the UK and one based in Singapore. The team covers everywhere excluding the US and Canada which is handed by the US Legal Administration Team. There is a need for additional resource in the International Legal Administration team and we are looking to hire someone to work from our office in Singapore. The Legal Administrator will join the Asia legal team, working closely with our Head of Legal for Asia based in Singapore and the other legal administrator. The role sits in the wider International Legal Team primarily based in London which is currently comprised of five solicitors, one company secretary, one assistant company secretary and two legal administrators.
Job Responsibilities
The main purpose of the Legal Administrator’s role is to ensure the efficient onboarding and enabling of participants to trade on the Tradeweb system and that Tradeweb’s legal documentation is processed seamlessly from start through to completion, this process involves:
• processing, reviewing and filing (electronic and hard copy) client documentation.
• following internal client and dealer onboarding procedures.
• liaising externally with client and dealer onboarding teams issuing and recording the required email correspondence to dealers and clients required for audit purposes.
• liaising directly with the legal administration team and legal Counsel based in the US, the UK and Singapore.
• liaising internally with various departments including client services, sales, finance and dealer relations and management; and
• updating internal company databases and production systems.
Other day-to-day responsibilities will also include processing, managing and/or updating:
• enablement requests and maintaining the requisite databases.
• name and/or entity change documentation and updating the relevant departments.
• company deletions and letters of termination.
• new and renewing dealer contracts; and
• dealer legal contact lists.
The Legal Administrator will also be required to spend a portion of time assisting the legal team in managing their contracts and associated documents, in particular arranging for various legal documents to be signed and sent to signatories based in the Netherlands, Japan, Australia, the US and the UK.
You will also help organise appropriate filing solutions and may occasionally need to provide administrative assistance to other departments within Tradeweb.
Qualifications
• Have experience or working in an office and ideally processing legal or contractual documentation
• Be process-driven and able to consistently follow procedures.
• Able to be systematic and well organised.
• Be self-motivated.
• Be responsible.
• Be analytical.
• Be accountable, as they will be dealing with information that must be accurate and is on the production trading system.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge of other office products
